What is Vacation Bible School?

Vacation Bible School is a week-long camp for children during the summer months. Our camp runs from Monday, August 3rd to Friday, August 7th. The camp starts at 9:00 am and ends at 3 pm.

What's the theme?

Upward Bound's backpacking adventure theme takes its cue from the thrilling ultimate expedition Jesus undertook when He left the heights of Heaven to carry out His early mission. Throughout their Upward Bound week, the children follow Jesus along His often perilous and always Heaven-bound incarnate journey.

How much does it cost?

There are no costs for the camp.

Who will be working with my children?

Our team consists of adults, college students and high school students. The director of the camp is the Associate Pastor of the church, Ken Liu. We are dedicated to provide a safe and fun learning environment for your children.

What kind of snacks will you be serving?

We strive to create a safe environment for everyone. Since some children have life-threatening peanut and tree nut allergies, we will be a "no-nut" facility. "No-nut" means that we will try our best to only offer snacks and food that do not contain peanuts, peanut butter or tree nuts. Despite these efforts, parents are strongly advised to have their allergic children eat snacks only brought from home to ensure the highest level of safety.
